By installing Wapes you accept these terms. We wrote them in plain language — not legalese — so you actually read them.

01 Introduction

These terms form a contract between you and Wapes ("we", "our"). They apply from the moment you install the extension and for as long as you continue using it.

If you disagree with any point, uninstall the extension and stop using it. It's that simple.

02 What is Wapes

Wapes is a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Brave) that adds productivity features to the WhatsApp Web interface — specifically, importing contacts from Excel/CSV, personalizing messages with variables, scheduling sends, and maintaining local labels.

Wapes is not WhatsApp. Wapes does not send messages on your behalf from its own servers. What Wapes does is automate actions you would perform manually in WhatsApp Web, inside your own browser.

03 Account & eligibility

Wapes does not require creating an account. The extension identifies itself with an anonymously generated UUID. To use Wapes you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your country.
  • Have a valid WhatsApp account (personal or Business) that complies with WhatsApp's Terms of Service.
  • Use Wapes for legitimate commercial or personal purposes.

04 Acceptable use

You may use Wapes to:

  • Communicate with customers, leads, or contacts who gave you their number with a reasonable expectation of receiving your messages.
  • Send order confirmations, reminders, after-sales support, and service communications.
  • Maintain local lists and labels to organize your communications.
  • Schedule sends within the technical limits of your contracted plan.

05 Prohibited use (anti-spam)

This is the most important section. Read it.

You may not use Wapes to:

  • Send messages to people who did not give you their number — purchased lists, scraped from Instagram, etc.
  • Phishing, scams, pyramid schemes, or any illegal activity.
  • Impersonate another person or company.
  • Distribute malware, malicious links, or content that violates third-party rights.
  • Harassment, hate speech, unsolicited sexual content, or any form of abuse.
  • Circumvent the technical limits of the extension by unauthorized means (modifying code, patches, etc.).
Important

Prohibited use can cost you access to Wapes and, more importantly, result in your phone number being blocked by WhatsApp. We are not responsible for blocked numbers — you are responsible for how you use the tool.

06 Plans & payments

We offer three plans:

  • Wapes Free — Free forever. No card required. Technical limits described on the pricing page.
  • Wapes Pro — $19.90 USD per month or $159 USD per year. No silent auto-renewal: we notify you 7 days before expiration.
  • Wapes Team (coming soon) — $49.90 USD per month.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record. Your payment information never passes through our servers. Invoices are issued by Paddle in your name.

Prices may change with 30 days notice, but the plan you contracted keeps its price while active — changes only apply upon renewal.

07 Refunds & cancellation

Cancellation: you can cancel the Pro plan at any time from your Paddle dashboard. Cancellation stops renewal but is not prorated — you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds: within the first 14 days after purchase, we refund 100% no questions asked. Email us at wapes.crm@gmail.com and we process in under 48 hours. After 14 days, refunds do not apply.

08 Intellectual property

Wapes (the extension code, brand, logo, and design) is the property of its creators. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension under these terms.

What you create within Wapes — templates, lists, labels, settings — is 100% yours. We store it locally in your browser and you can export or delete it whenever you want.

09 Limitation of liability

Wapes is provided "as-is". We do not guarantee it is bug-free, operates without interruptions, or meets all your particular expectations.

We are not responsible for:

  • Blocks, suspensions, or terminations that WhatsApp / Meta applies to your number or account.
  • Business losses due to temporary service interruptions (Chrome, WhatsApp Web, your connection, etc.).
  • The content of messages you send to your contacts.
  • Indirect, lost profit, or consequential damages arising from use of the extension.

Our maximum liability in any case is limited to the amount you paid for Wapes in the 12 months prior to the incident.

10 No affiliation with WhatsApp / Meta

Wapes is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a registered trademark of WhatsApp Inc.

Wapes is a third-party tool that runs on top of the public WhatsApp Web interface. Your use of WhatsApp remains governed by its own terms.

11 Changes to service

We may modify features, add or remove functionality, and update the extension periodically. We notify major changes by email to Pro users and in the public changelog.

WhatsApp may change its web interface without notice, which can temporarily break some Wapes functionality. In those cases, we do our best to patch within 72 hours — but we do not guarantee a response time.

12 Termination

You can terminate this contract at any time by uninstalling the extension. If you have an active Pro plan, cancel in Paddle first to avoid renewal.

We may terminate the service (or suspend your UUID) if we detect prohibited use — specifically, the points described in section 05.

13 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.
