Will Wapes get my WhatsApp number blocked? +
No, if you use it sensibly. Wapes sends with human pauses (4–18 seconds by default), doesn't use the API, and doesn't impersonate anyone — it simply automates what you'd do by hand. We recommend not exceeding ~250 new messages per day per number.
Do my contacts get stored on any Wapes server? +
No. Wapes has no backend. Everything — contacts, templates, history — lives in your browser's local storage. Uninstall the extension and that data disappears with you.
Do I need WhatsApp Business or does a personal account work? +
Any WhatsApp account you can link to WhatsApp Web works — Personal or Business. There is no technical difference.
Can I cancel the Pro subscription whenever I want? +
Yes. Cancel with one click from your dashboard and you keep access until the end of the paid period. No prorating, no questions asked.
What happens if I close my laptop mid-send? +
Wapes pauses the send automatically. When you reopen Chrome and go back to WhatsApp Web, it picks up exactly where it left off — no duplicate messages.
Is there a version for Firefox, Safari or Edge? +
Edge yes, because it shares the Chromium engine with Chrome. Firefox is in private beta (write to us). Safari no — Apple doesn't allow extensions with permissions on WhatsApp Web.
